Objective

To amplify understanding and awareness of the subject areas, levels and qualification types of the OCR nationals in the education sector.

Solution

Rok defined and implemented a national marketing strategy that not only informed the schools about OCR’s offering but the creative doubled up as an educational tool to teach pupils providing OCR with a ‘double edged marketing sword’ and giving the campaign longevity.

Strong impactful images with clean lines helped the user identify immediately with the subject. Rok rolled out poster campaigns within schools and brochures, which provided more in depth details of the courses and qualifications. Because of the large amounts of complex information to be conveyed within the brochure, the inside layouts were designed to be clear, informative and easy to understand whilst remaining visually engaging.

Results

The campaign was a huge success. Many schools requested additional posters due to their educational nature giving OCR’s brand additional life and visibility within the sector. Uptake of courses rose significantly and Rok was commissioned to extend the campaign across other mediums.
