Objective
To create a versatile, interactive book for internal comms to inspire managers, a bar bible for making the perfect drink and a style guide for the brand.
Solution
Rok designed a guide in a contemporary scrapbook style which includes everything from marketing tips with samples of online and offline activity right through to hosting events and networking. The guide was designed to allow the user to interact with the book and encourage them to add to the content and personalise it for their own use. The guide also introduced the internal and external teams working behind the scenes and calendars with keys dates helped run marketing campaigns on schedule. We also included how to plan a marketing campaign and create those all important reasons to visit as well as tips, tricks and general ideas on how to market a PCDG pub. The bar bible was a fun condensed handbook that bar staff could refer to quickly and easily to find any indexed drink. The style guide was designed to be far more formal, reflecting the tone and culture of the brand using sophisticated images and high end printing.
Results
The guide was launched in brand receiving fantastic feedback and is still being used today by managers as an extremely useful tool. The bar staff loved their 'bible' and the style guide achieved the exact positioning PCDG wanted.
