E-commerce and event website to promote The Trilby Tour competition and golf wear

LAUNCHING GOLF PRO WEAR E-COMMERCE SITE AND EVENT COVERED BY SKY SPORTS

Objective

To create an online strategy to elevate William Hunt’s brand and The Trilby Tour. Strategy to include the design and build of a website to promote the pro golf pro competition event and a subsequent e-commerce website to drive sales uptake of his golf wear.

Solution

The Trilby Tour was created as a golf tour for professional and amateur golfers developed to help promote William Hunt’s clothing range and accessories to the golfing community. Rok designed and built a website which maximised the exposure of the event and drove the uptake of competitor places ensuring the competition was a sell out. Off the back of the Trilby Tour website we designed and built an e-commerce site that promoted the William Hunt golf clothing range. We worked with William from a blank piece of paper to devise a dynamic website which showcased the full gallery of clothes with a trusted and secure payment system. Rok also directed a range of photographs which were used across the whole campaign to promote the golf clothing range, Golfsexy. Visitors to the site and fans of William Hunt could download the photographs as screensavers.

Results

The Tour gained a vast amount of press and TV coverage including Sky Sports The event was a massive hit with the winner-takes-all prize consisting of bespoke one-off items. The project was delivered on time within tight timelines. Rok was given a 3 month windows prior to the event to fill the 120 competitor places. Rok smashed this target, both events sold out in 7 days and all clothing sales exceeded targets.
